Software Engineer

120K-140K per year
Job Description / Requirements:
***Must be onsite for the job – not a remote position Required Skills/Background
• 5-10 years of experience; relevant degree counts towards experience
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Strong debugging skills
• Experience with using Git for version control
• Strong knowledge of Linux and CLI
• Low level hardware communication (cameras, sensors, linear stages) – MUST HAVE
• Knowledge of FPGA and GPU (CUDA)
• Ability to travel in support of system deployment or customer engagement-
• Ability to obtain security clearance – current or elidgble to obtain clearance Desired
Skills/Background
• BSc or higher; Computer Science, Software Engineering – can take a 2 year associates as long as they have the experience
• Strong math skills
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Julia
• Knowledge of high-speed control systems
• Computer vision, image processing, DSP
• Passion for astronomy and laser communications
