What’s Unique About This Role
As a Structural Engineer, you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely up to 80% of the time while always maintaining a dedicated workstation in the office. You’ll also have the opportunity to become an owner in the firm and receive profit sharing. The projects you’ll take on are diverse, spanning renewable energy (wind and solar), oil and gas, industrial, commercial, and more—ensuring that no two days are the same. Salary ranges from $105,000 to $135,000, with additional benefits, including bonuses, that support long-term career growth.
What You’ll Do
You’ll collaborate closely with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers to deliver exceptional project results. Being part of a team of engineers, designers, and technicians, you’ll oversee structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications while ensuring quality control and compliance. Regular site visits will allow you to conduct field observations, respond to RFIs, and review submittals.
Beyond technical responsibilities, you’ll contribute to business development efforts by supporting proposals and nurturing client relationships. You’ll also play a key role in team meetings—both virtual and in-person—where your insights and expertise will help shape project success. Managing project budgets, schedules, and workload forecasting will be crucial in keeping projects on track.
About You
We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and at least five years of experience in structural design, including concrete and steel. A Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one, is required. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and industry-standard codes is essential, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
