Security Manager Needed - Humboldt Park Area

We are seeking a highly capable Security Manager to oversee the security operations for a facility in the Humboldt Park Area. You will play an essential role in securing the

company’s assets and mitigating risk. The Ideal candidate will be curious by nature, inquisitive and a self-starter. Will also have extensive knowledge in the Security Industry, with a preferred Law Enforcement background, or extensive Security Management experience.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits and investigations to detect theft of product.
  • Gathering security intelligence and implement preventative measures.
  • Oversee security systems and protocols to mitigate risk and deter theft.
  • Reviewing video and auditing transactions.
  • Controlling the security operations budget, monitoring expenses, and documenting processes.
  • Supervising, recruiting, and training in-house security personnel as well as overseeing a contract security workforce.
  • Developing work schedules, allocating tasks, and monitoring personnel performance.
  • Coordinating responses to emergencies and alarms, as well as compiling incident reports.
  • Preparing surveillance equipment maintenance schedules and facilitating repairs in a timely manner.
  • Keeping abreast of new technologies and advancements in security services.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in all situations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or military service record. 
  • All applicants must complete a pre-employment screening process to include drug screening.
  • Must have mature demeanor, personality and attitude. 
  • Must possess strong customer service skills, public relation skills and the ability to interact well with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbally, written and non-verbal.
