Job Description

Carnegie Mellon University's College of Fine Arts (CFA), School of Music, is searching for a Recruitment Coordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. Reporting to the Director of Recruitment & Enrollment, the Recruitment Coordinator will contribute to the overall recruitment efforts of the School of Music through campus visit programming, collaboration with faculty, and helping to develop and implement recruitment strategies.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Manages visits by prospective students
  • Manages the office of Recruitment & Enrollment
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of student Admission Ambassadors
  • Coordinates the placement of recruitment advertisements, liaising with Director of Marketing & Communications and University Contracts Office
  • Represents the School of Music at college fairs and other recruitment events as needed
  • Provides coordinating and administrative assistance to the Director of Recruitment and Enrollment as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years' experience in admissions in a college or university setting, with a preference for previous music admissions experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
