Project Description RIVA will be providing technical services and support while managing and implementing system/application upgrades and security support to ensure that their customer's system operates in a secure fashion; to design, develop, test, and implement new enhancements for upcoming 2026 and 2028 customer test(s), special research and testing phase; to support the 2030 development plan.
The services and support being provided include project management support, software upgrades, software development services, production support/routine operations and maintenance (O&M), software testing support, configuration management, technical writing and help desk support for RIVA's customer applications and interfaces. Additionally, the Contractor will provide knowledge transfer to staff, consultation for alternative industry standards on processes and procedures, and support integration of both hardware and software within the customer's intranet and internet infrastructure, including migration to a federated cloud solution. All documentation (code, scripts, designs, testing documentation, etc.,) shall become property of the Government. The contractor shall use the customer's Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) developed templates where applicable (i.e., Unit Test template, Agenda and Meeting Minutes Template, Charter Template, Project Plan Template, etc.,).
Position Description The Project Manager will provide oversight of all aspects of field and/or task-level project performance. They likely will be working on multiple projects simultaneously while supervising all personnel involved in all aspects of project activity, organizing and assigning responsibilities to subordinates, overseeing the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and maintaining customer contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations. They will interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. They will need to ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. This Project Manager will need to recommend action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems while exercising independent judgement, as well as a high level of analysis in solving non-routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
Responsibilities The Project Manager will provide technical and personnel management to technical and administrative personnel across multiple disciplines such as engineering, application program and systems development. They will be responsible for the overall, day-to-day management of a specific task order or group of task orders affecting the same or related/interdependent systems. The Project Manager will schedule and assign work to subordinates and subcontractors and monitor progress while resolving discrepancies to ensure compliance with work/quality standards and contract/task order requirements. They will ensure that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order(s) are implemented within estimated timeframes and budget constraints.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager.
- PMP certification preferred
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship or have been a permanent resident for more than 3 years.
Salary Range : $100,000 - $200,000 USD
