JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking   an experienced Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner  who has urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our welcoming and diverse community of providers. 

We are considering Fulltime, Part-time, Per Diem (PRN) or Weekend Only schedules in the following communities around Greater Hartford:

• Old Saybrook
• Southington
• Torrington
• West Haven
• North Haven
• Windsor

You would provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. It is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary while going above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

• Competitive compensation and robust benefits package  as an employee of Hartford HeatlhCare . Qualified Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners can earn a fulltime annual base compensation ranging from $126,796.80 to $171,600.00+ per year*

Additionally, we have two Excellent Bonus Programs (for fulltime/part-time providers):

• Daily Volume Bonus  paid monthly based on patient visit metrics met per shift ( to reward those who work at the busier centers ).
• Quarterly Bonus of up to 10% on top of your clinical base salary, based upon patient satisfaction scores, productivity and quality measures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages) required.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Physicians:  Board Certified/eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds
• Physician Assistants: Masters degree and NCCPA Certification is required
• Nurse Practitioners: Masters degree and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP)
• Licensed in the state of Connecticut as a Physician, Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) required

*The compensation rate encompasses a foundational base rate (commensurate with experience), plus shift differential and guaranteed retention bonus. Opportunity for additional earnings contingent upon the attainment of bonus metrics, which include but are not limited to patient satisfaction, clinical quality, patient visits per hour and daily volumes.
