Seeking An Impact CEO

Electus is seeking an impact-driven leader with a proven track record of scaling mission-driven organizations and startups with a strategic acumen to drive governance, financial sustainability, and high-impact partnerships.

Founders and partners strongly value lived experience—whether through personal, professional, or community-driven work—understanding that true leadership often comes from those who have navigated and overcome the challenges we seek to address.

We seek a CEO with an intrinsic alignment to our mission and who understands the bigger picture of our impact—economic growth, workforce development, systemic financial inclusion, and social mobility—positioning Electus as a high-impact, scalable force for change. Your Mission as the CEO:

Build a Strong partnership with Co-Founders

• The CEO must possess a deep appreciation for Electus' mission, vision, and reason for existence, understanding the core values that drive our work. The CEO must be willing to collaborate closely and effectively with the co-founders, forging a strong partnership to achieve shared goals and advance the company's authentic mission. A collaborative spirit and alignment with the co-founders' vision are essential for success in this role.

Building & Expending on Existing Partnerships

• CEO will cultivate and expand our vital existing partner relationships, including those with key organizations like The American Heart Association, Google, FIS Global, Dash Solutions, Plug & Play, VISA, Pathward Bank, and others.

• A particular focus for the CEO will be nurturing and strengthening our valued partnership with The American Heart Association Social Impact Fund, recognizing their crucial role as our social impact venture funder. Building upon this existing relationship will be critical to our continued growth and success.

Shareholders’ Best Interest

• The CEO must consistently always prioritize and act in the best interest and in protection of the shareholders. This fiduciary responsibility requires sound judgment, transparency, and accountability in all decision-making processes.

• The CEO's focus should be on maximizing long-term shareholder value through strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and prudent financial management, while adhering to the highest ethical standards and legal obligations.

Leadership & Governance

• Execute on our established vision and mission , working closely with all team members and stakeholders to achieve near and long-term business and impact goals.

• Champion transparency, accountability, and fiduciary responsibility , ensuring sustainable growth and ethical leadership across all areas of our business.

• Serve as the public face of Electus , engaging with current and prospective investors, corporate partners, government bodies, customer partners and decision-makers.

• Harvest your network of investors, corporate partners, customer partners and other influential individuals, and entities to grow Electus while fostering an unwavering and continous gravitational pull towards the company.

• Invest in our present and future , demonstrating true "skin-in-the-game" as a committed leader and stakeholder from day one by investing in Electus yourself. This is an immovable prerequisite.

Innovation, Risk-Taking & Scaling Impact

• We’re seeking a CEO who comprehends and thrives in the dynamic startup environment, understanding that calculated risk-taking and experimentation, unburdened by fear of failure, are essential prerequisites for success. This individual must also possess a strong drive for established vision and mission execution and operational expertise to drive organized growth and scale the business effectively.

• Lead, foster, and encourage breakthrough product innovation, integrating AI/ML, fintech, and edtech innovations to revolutionize access to education and financial empowerment​.

• Scale services nationally, expanding into new markets and underserved communities while ensuring operational excellence.

• Foster psychological safety and a high-trust, high-performance culture, empowering teams to take bold, mission-aligned risks​.

Fundraising, Investment & Strategic Partnerships

• The CEO will have an established network of investors to facilitate rounds of funding, leveraging that network of private investors, corporate funders, social impact funders, philanthropic funders, and corporate sponsors​ to accelerate and fund the company's growth.

• Build multi-year strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies to meet their CSR and ESG goals, financial institutions like banks and credit unions to meet their CRA requirements, and policymakers to amplify Electus’ reach and directly drive social and economic impact in their communities.

• Drive revenue diversification through sustainable, impact-driven business models, ensuring long-term financial stability and ROI for our investors and stakeholders.

Thought Leadership & Industry Influence

• Establish Electus as a leading voice in edtech, fintech, and social impact , shaping conversations around financial inclusion, economic empowerment, educational opportunities, equlaity of opportunity, and social upward mobility via our AI-driven education that outputs access to economic and life opportunities.

• Leverage public speaking, media engagements, and strategic content to drive awareness, credibility, and thought leadership within the industry.

• Represent Electus in high-profile forums, government panels, and global conferences to advocate for systemic change in education and financial empowerment.

• Cultivate a strong digital presence, publishing insights, white papers, and thought-provoking content that advances the mission of Electus and attracts key stakeholders.

Staunch Fiduciary, Risk & Governance Leadership

• Uphold the highest governance standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, security protocols, risk management, and financial integrity.

• Work closely with founders and investors to maintain strong corporate governance and financial oversight​.

• Ensure transparency in reporting and accountability, leveraging real-time impact tracking tools to measure organizational success​.

People, Culture, & Leadership Excellence

• The CEO must demonstrate a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Inclusion (DEIA) and will adhere to all our internal policies, best practices, and obligations relating to such, seeking expert advice where needed, and related policies and practices. This includes fostering an inclusive workplace culture where all individuals feel valued and respected, regardless of background.

• Inspire, mentor, and retain world-class talent, building an inclusive, mission-driven culture of ownership and impact with founders and team members.
