Job Description: Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a skilled and experienced IT Technician to join a dynamic IT team. Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) focused on simplifying technology infrastructure, enhancing productivity, and securing digital assets for businesses of all sizes.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical capabilities, a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, and a proven ability to provide exceptional support to end-users. This role involves hands-on work across hardware, software, and systems to ensure optimal performance and rapid issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues, escalating when necessary.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and productivity applications.
• Monitor and manage IT systems including servers, networks, and cloud services.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and security checks.
• Assist with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and user support.
• Train end-users on software applications and IT best practices.
• Collaborate with IT team members to support ongoing projects and technical initiatives.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support role, with at least 2 years in a technical capacity.
• Proficient in:
• Windows and macOS operating systems
• Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk)
• Network tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds)
• Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Autotask)
• Antivirus and endpoint protection (Symantec, McAfee)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCSA are a plus.
