Job Description

Company in Downtown Columbia is seeking an experienced and detailed-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative services in support of the organization as well as accounting support assisting their Controller. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of administrative experience and be able to stay on task with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain database (Deltek) and schedule of upcoming pursuits
  • Data entry into our digital asset management system (OpenAsset)
  • Assist in marketing material preparation (social media posts, presentation and proposal graphics, various other marketing materials)
  • Prepare deposits and take to bank, daily
  • Routine administrative tasks (including, but not limited to): greet visitors; answer and direct phone calls; take messages; make copies; pick up, sort and deliver incoming and outgoing mail; maintain breakroom inventory; run errands as needed

Skills Required:

  • At least two years of administrative experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes
  • Ability to represent the Company in a highly professional manner
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically with logical problem-solving skills
  • Show capability and drive to consistently deliver high quality work
  • Ability to research an issue and gather needed information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
